About.
I became a reporter because I value the power storytelling has to captivate, move and inform audiences. Digital and social media reporting will always be my first love, but I’m equally fascinated by everything audiences don’t see behind the scenes, like editorial planning and search engine optimization. I aim to dive deeper into these areas by learning from my mentors and coworkers while I explore different aspects of the media industry.
I recently graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism where I earned my Masters of Science in journalism and my Bachelor’s of Science in journalism with a minor in gender studies. I’m currently a digital editorial intern at NBC News Select. When I’m not writing or scheduling Tweets, I’m baking (and running my passion project, To Be Gluten Free), trying a new workout class or binge watching Marvel movies.
